Filling and emptying system for silos (flat bottom)

Filling and emptying system for silos (flat bottom)

A conveying solution for filling of siloes can easily be based on pneumatics. It is only the pipes which need to go from ground level to the top filling point of the silo. The blower is placed on the ground and thereby easy to relocate and bring under roof during off season. No machinery and sensitive equipment is exposed to weather conditions during the whole year.

The solution is based on filling of the grain directly into the blowing line, which maximizes the capacity, and makes it easier to follow the combine’s capacity.

The blower is available in tractor-driven versions, which eliminates the demand for power supply and makes the whole system more flexible. The same blower can be used for emptying the siloes with optional equipment.

Emptying of flat bottom siloes can be done efficient by utilizing the pneumatic conveying system. At the bottom of the silo, a suction pipe going across the whole silo is installed.
